A few things to keep in mind before you book a photoshoot to make sure you have the best possible experience: 

Permission to take photos in our greenhouse is for private use photos and not commercial use. Photos of the family in our greenhouse is all that we are giving consent for with your $40 per hour payment.  Commercial Photoshoots are at a different hourly rate with much more planning involved so these requests must be discussed with our team. For private family photoshoots including engagement, maternity, holiday and more keep in mind that we are open for business so we may have customers come into the greenhouse to shop during your photoshoot.  Weekday mornings are generally a slower time so there is a better chance of no customers during your shoot. Our winter hours are 9am to 5pm. For the rest of the year, we open at 8am -7pm everyday. 8:30-11 am is slower. Afternoons are busier. Just want you to be aware so that you are willing to work around them. We do not block off areas but people visiting the greenhouse are polite and generally will avoid getting in your way.

We do not provide lighting so pictures should be taken when natural sunlight is best. No permit is necessary for personal use photography sessions that are low impact in our greenhouse.

Again, we do not require a permit for low impact filming.  We define low impact as filming activities in areas open to the public, involving five people or less and equipment that will be carried at all times, except for small tripods used to hold cameras.
