The Bartlett Pear is the most popular variety in the U.S. It is known for its sweet, juicy, smooth flesh. This pear tree matures at a fast rate, is easy to grow and will reward its owner with gorgeous Spring blossoms. In late Summer it produces large and luscious fruit and is capable of providing a continuous crop for up to 100 years. Bartlett pears are excellent for canning/preserves, cooking and fresh eating. To ensure pollination, this tree needs a compatible cultivar-- any European pear will suffice, except for the 'Seckel' Pear Tree.
