Extremely hardy male holly with dense, rich deep green foliage on an upright, rounded form. Produces no berries. Best for pollenizing female southern varieties such as Sparkleberry and Wildfire (I. verticillata). Plant one male for every five female plants. Ideal background shrub. Deciduous.
